Three second violation call for each team with less than a minute left. These referees would have called targeting against Texas

Byom, Vasecka, and Paige were huge tonight. Gritty win. Most challenging conference game we have had in a long time which is honestly good to see.

Agreed. Playing Thiesen way too many minutes.

They will probably keep bringing her off the bench, but Vasecka deserves starter minutes.

We have had some incredible shooters over the years but Vasecka has one of the purest strokes from 3 I have ever seen.

Is Brooklyn dealing with an unspecified injury?

From what I have seen ORU is the #2 team in the league. I just got done watching it, not that my opinion matters but, your going to get it anyway! I thought ORU was #2 last year as well, they could/can score like nobody's business. Last year we handled them quite a lot easier (going off memory) because we came out shooting lights out (especially down there). This year we came out so/so, and they made some shots. We are a better team, but they have some ballers. I would take #11 (easier to type than name!) anyday! I've watched most other teams play a game or so, and that should have been our toughest test? We still over many years of me watching them have too many lazy turnovers. Some of our turnovers are because we are trying to make Sportscenter highlights so to speak, and those I can live with to a degree because it keeps the other team always guessing. But we have to clean up some of the others. The rest will work itself out, I'm not concerned if we don't have POY because our team is that good from top to bottom and nobody gets to log monster stats all year long (Grace Larkins).

The TV announcer was a "Joe 6-pack" kind of guy. After being initially annoyed, I found humor in what he was saying. It was as if an average fan was hooked up to a microphone. In close games I find myself tense and irritable. Not last night. I laughed, out loud, especially during the final quarter. Sort of refreshing. His blistering attack on the officials at the end of the game will draw the attention of the Summit League brass.

Brooklyn logged 26 minutes. She also had some good defense played against her. ORU completed their plan for Brooklyn. She still had 7 rebounds and some assists. Kallie does not score like Brooklyn, but she still turned in 6 rebounds and 3 blocks in 14 minutes. ORU is a good team in the Summit. They have had trouble beating the Jackrabbits for a long time. Vasecka will give Oglesby a run for the 6th woman of the year. She was the point guard after Paige went to the bench. Vasecka can play many positions. The Jackrabbits did well on defense to hold ORU to 76. The Golden Eagles want to score 90/game. This is a great win on the road.
