I believe you had to be on the roster for the 20/21 season, which was the last COVID shortened season, in order to get an extra year. Byom, Theisen and Vlastuin all fall in that group and will be playing their 5th season this year. Paige and Timmer started in 21/22 and will be the first class to not get an extra season.
