Watched that Omaha girl Friday afternoon, same thing, head went flying back at any semblance of contact. Yep ref ate it up then too. Women's basketball has come too far to fall for that junk (like the obligatory foul any time a player dives to the basket and falls down).

I hate those automatic fouls called with no rhyme or reason it seems, it just detracts from the game..

She is having quite the game. A quick scan of her game log shows this is her season high (14 at end of 3rd qtr, hasn't scored double digits all year), but has scored 18 several times through the first 2 years of her career. Year 3 down a bit, and 4 down a bit more until today.

Final 76-63. Got gritty down the stretch, but pulled away again at the end. This is a special bunch this year that has faced a ton of adversity.

I didn't even get nervous when the Yotes cut 15 to 7... I knew they'd pull it out.
