GDT: Jackrabbits vs Panthers 2pm McLeod Center ESPN+

There are many activities for SDSU teams today. UNI is 1-6 with the lone win over Green Bay at McLeod. They have had a most difficult schedule including a loss to the yotes. This will not be an easy game. The Jackrabbits last road win was UT Martin Nov 18. It is time to get one of those road wins. Go Jacks!!

I watched a lot of the U game. UNI’s starting post hurt her shoulder a few minutes into the game. So it is hard to really tell, but, their offense after that consisted mainly of shooting the 3. They didn’t look good, I would expect more out of them today.

Huge 3rd quarter capped off by a Paige Meyer 30 ft 3 pointer at the buzzer!

UNI is not an easy place for us to win at. That quarter was very impressive.

58-41 Jacks at the end of the 3rd. Paige Meyer really took over the quarter with four layups (three and one's) and a Steph Curry-esque buzzer beating three. It wasn't a running shot either. I'll post the clip if it pops up.

DEFINITELY a nice win for the girls today!!! not saying UNI is gonna make the sweet sixteen or anything but they are definitely better than the record indicates and have been a good / tough opponent for us in the last several years!! it feels like Maddie M is getting some more confidence in the outside shot

nice that Brooklyn has raised the FT% from 56 last year to 68 so far this year and feels like it will go up a bit more. dont know if she is gonna turn into an 80% plus shooter from the FT line but i think she has a solid shot to make 3 of 4 a lot more often than not

Brooklyn is going to have to be a solid FT shooter. Otherwise we are F'ed.

i feel like if she can shoot in the neighborhood of 70% we probably need to be satisfied. i would still require her to shoot at least 100 every day. have no idea what their FT work program is or if they have different plans for different players?? if somehow she could become an 80% FT shooter i think great chance she averages 20 a game.

1 of 4 on FT today but really in the second half the guards did almost all the scoring and Brooklyn did not get in much rhythm on offense. still 11 pts, 10 boards, 4 assists- tie for team lead, 3 blocks, and a steal is a more than solid stat line

I shouldn’t have said we’d be f’ed. But it may cost us a game or two. And it would be really unfortunate if it was a tourney game.
