The Lady Bulldogs come SD 0-5 for the season. HC Tim Eatman is in his first year. He has 3 players over 6' who are freshmen. All of the upper class players are 5'4"-5'10". SC State WBB has struggled for many years as they have turned in 11 wins since 2019-20. 6 of those wins were in the MEAC. The Jackrabbits should be able to take care of business tonight for a home win. Go Jacks!!

Brooklyn Meyer plays so hard every single possession. She is up there with the elite posts we’ve had over the years.

Does anyone know which recruiting class was the final one to get the extra season of Covid eligibility ? Nieman and Newitt said that Paige Meyer has two more seasons after this year, which would give her 5 seasons. I have always thought that her class (21-22) would only be eligible for 4 seasons.

Brooklyn was not contained with the Bulldog bigs. She was able to move around the larger bodies well enough to shoot 11-15. She also has worked on the free throws as she was 7-8 and raised her average to 63%. It was great to see Paige as well as she was a spark throughout the game while she played 15 minutes. The Jackrabbits are trying to play faster off defensive rebounds. The made 3 point shots were below the season average percentage and they took more than average during this game. There are many of these women who can take that shot too. AJ will have this team ready for the next 2 home games[Washburn & Wash St].

Thanks, that's what I thought. Timmer will be around for a 5th year, but not by her choosing.

The 2021-22 year was the freshman year for these 2. The Covid year was 2019-20. Byom & Vlastuin were freshmen in 2020-21.

The 20-21 class gets the fifth year. Byom and Vlastuin are playing their 4th seasons and are listed as juniors on the roster.
