HC Woods has been making strides into her third year with 7 conference wins already. Last week the Pios beat NDSU in Denver. Denver is taking almost half of their shots from beyond the arc at 31.4% rate. She has a mix of grad students and younger players as contributors with Fr G Smith as the leading scorer. 6'3" Sr Minett averages 9.0 boards and 2.9 blocks in conference. The Pink Game is followed by an auction of the jerseys to benefit Edith Sanford Cancer Center. The Pios gave the Jackrabbits all they wanted in Denver as they escaped with a victory of 10 points. I expect the Jackrabbits to increase that margin in Frost Arena as they continue to fine tune the game for the SLT. Go Jacks!!

Our women play so hard. The level of effort we put forth no matter the score is unreal. Rebounds, focus, and hustle plays have set this team apart. Hope it continues. Fun to watch. -
