  • GDT: SDSU VS NDSU 1pm Scheels Center GoBison.com

HC Jory Collins has the bison(8-3) in contention with a solid sweep of the yotes this conference season. He has Hamling and Evans as primary weapons. They are both contenders for POY & FOY respectively. A win against the Jackrabbits in Fargo today would be the feather in Jory's hat and a 10 year extension! I would expect a very physical game in the half court as the bison attempt to thwart any transition game by the Jackrabbits. The Jackrabbits should improve on the 34% fg from the game in Grand Forks. Look for the POY performance from a Jackrabbit today. Go Jacks!!

ESPN+ has this game listed today.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Looking to knock off the 2nd consecutive team with an undefeated home record. It’s interesting that the Jacks FB team has been built to beat NDSU by matching strength for strength. The NDSU women’s team has been built to try and beat us by matching strength for strength. Hamling is a known quantity but Evans looks like the future star in this league with her length and athleticism. Big test for the girls. If they shoot low 30% from the field they will leave with a L.

I hear what you are saying. i cannot make a prediction because I am too superstitious, but i think the jacks will have a very good plan today.

But this road shooting thing is just strange in general, at best, and ominous, at worst. obviously the jacks are gonna have to go on the road come NCAA time. they have played well in a lot of games (basically everything outside of the grotesque road trip to WSU and MSU) even when they shot it badly, but if they can get this shooting thing figured out in these next half dozen games plus the SLT they could truly do some damage come tourney time

NDSU making almost everything they throw up but Jacks finally settling down and creating turnovers. The calls have been overly tight. Both teams are going to be at the foul line the whole game if this keeps up.

Hopefully NDSU will not shoot 70 % for the game.

WDAY definitely found a homer for their color lady. Jacks getting no breaks from the officials.

That was a tale of two quarters. Down by 9 end first quarter and then up by 10 at the half.

She’s definitely a homer. Quite one-sided with her comments.

Game changed when Paige entered the game. Bison can't keep up with her speed pushing the ball up the floor. And the Jacks D got a lot better.

Teams have obviously decided their best chance to play with us is to get physical and try to rough us up. Only problem is that the refs have to call some fouls….so the fouls start mounting up. And our opponents can’t match our depth.

We have made 10 more free throws (16) than they have (6), that's the difference in this game.

Teams say they have grit but the Jacks actually do. Nobody panicked when we were down 9 and we clamped down defensively to blow the doors open on this. Our second string especially has been good today. How many teams can see their level of play rise when they put in their bench?
