Coach Jory Collins brings a much improved bison team to Frost. Jory will likely be as intense on the bench as ever. The 3-0 bison are the other undefeated team in the Summit. The last bison win over the Jackrabbits was Macy Miller's first Summit conference game played at Scheel's Center January 4, 2015. Hamling is the center of the bison team as she plays the most minutes and scores the most points, leads the assist category, and grabs 5 boards/game. Freshman G 6'3" Evans is the next scorer in double digits and 4.8 boards. The same starting lineup for all games is filled by 6'1" F Brown, 6'2" F Behnke, & 5'10" G Schulte. Collins has a lengthy team with a bench 3-4 deep that has 3 players getting more than 10 minutes. NDSU was picked 5th in the preseason. It looks as though they are playing for a higher seed. The Jackrabbits will likely be prepared for physical play by the bison. I am hoping for a strong start by the Jackrabbits to result in being the only undefeated Summit team. Go Jacks!!
