Collins has had some problems as the bison are 4-6 in conference. They are 2-3 at home in conference as well. The bison were tabbed as 3rd place in preseason while they are currently checked at 6th. Hamling & Cobbins are a couple of juniors who have led in scoring, rebounds, & assists. They also lead in minutes played averaging 30 and 34 minutes. 6'3" Dietz & 5'6" Hopkins are the lone seniors on this roster. 38% of the shots will be 3pt attempts where they average 34%. Scheels is not likely to be too raucous tonight if the <400 assemble like last Saturday night. The Jackrabbits could bring a few spectators to pad the number! Jackrabbits should avoid the upset tonight. Go Jacks!!

We seem to have picked it up on the defensive end which, I think, has helped the offense. Seem to be playing with more intensity and purpose. The girls got AJ's message that they needed to play harder. Regardless of the reason, we are playing with confidence all over the court. Per GoJacks.com, the Jackrabbits enter Saturday 3rd in the nation in field goal shooting (47.3%) and 7th in 3-point shooting (38.7%). Go Jacks!

Cold shooting to start but end the quarter on a run. Looks like an empty arena with more blue than green. There are even fans holding SDSU signs behind the NDSU bench. Love to see it. I’d assume Irwin has lots of family and friends there for her final game in ND.

Bison fortunate to be shooting 7-11 from three, or they would be down even more. NDSU has consistently forced a switch where Meyer ends up guarding their post, but they don't seem to want to try to take advantage of it.

Jacks get out of Fargo with a solid win, and more important with no injuries. Since Collins took over, the Bison have gotten physical, sometimes bordering on chippy - lots of hard fouls and physical blocking out. Jacks so much better in the fundamentals like moving the ball and playing smart defense.
