Coach Cussen will attempt to break the 18 game streak the Jackrabbits(5-7) have against the Golden Eagles(5-7). She has a Freshman, Tirzah Moore 6'0" F, leading the charge for the team. Moore is the leading scorer, rebounder, and shot blocker. She has a 6'3" So, Katie Scott(GCU transfer), who is the 3rd leading scorer. Scott is averaging 16 minutes which is likely due to her endurance. Hannah Cooper(Western Colorado transfer) leads the team with 3.3 assists per game. Lippe is in her grad student year. Senior Nix(W Texas A&M transfer) is the leading 3pt shooter off the bench as she averages 40%. Another freshman, 6' Trinity Moore(Tirzah twin?), is gaining some experience off the bench. The Golden Eagles are getting about 4 more rebounds per game. 3 of the 5 wins for the Golden Eagles were against lower divisions. The Jackrabbits should be gaining some momentum following the KC win on the road. Go Jacks!!

20-0 run for us to start the game. Not bad.

We are moving the ball so much better these last two games. 8 assists and only 1 turnover so far.

Meyer can't play 40 minutes, but the ball movement and flow of the offense is so much better when she is on the floor. They are a perimeter passing no penetration offense with her on the bench.

We played better as a team against KC and frankly we had to.ORU just hit 3 -3's in a row, we seem to be trying to just ride out this last qtr. We haven't given that much back for the margin of scoring, but we also haven't added any pts either, against a team that's shooting terribly so far, our defense might have something to do with that.

ORU outscoring us 15-9 this last qtr, shooting % rising for them to 30% from 25% , so our lead shrinks not surprisingly, but a win is a win, can't gripe, we were in control the whole game I guess. ORU will have to figure some things out if they want more success this season, but, they had to start out playing against the top two teams voted on in the league, they'll probably do better going forward.Ending positively, a GREAT start to the Conference schedule.Merry Christmas everyone !!
