The season starts tonight. This match up has been regular the past few years. Former SDSU player/alum Megan Vogel is in her 8th year as an assistant. The Phoenix return 3 starters including 5th year Pingel who is a preseason 2nd team Horizon pick. Green Bay is picked preseason 3rd this year behind IUPUI and Milwaukee. There are 11 freshmen on the team with 4 of those first year players.. Last season the Phoenix scored 65/game and allowed 60/game. They also lost twice to the Bison. The Jackrabbits rotation could resemble the exhibition games with a number of players logging minutes. We can also be hopeful to see Selland find some playing time tonight or very soon. Remember the 6pm tip. Go Jacks!!

Did not take long to see that Paige Meyer is a very intelligent basketball player. Love the way she keeps her head up when she pushes the ball up the floor. And when she was inbounding the ball and the person guarding her had her back turned, she used the old trick of passing the ball off her back in to herself. Oh, and hitting 2 threes doesn't hurt either.Comment

I don’t think it’s bold to say that SDSU and USD are probably top 25 teams again. Green Bay isn’t a bad team, and this is a shellacking.Comment
