  • GDT: Jackrabbits #25 vs Coyotes 5pm@Frost Midco/ESPN3

The game between the undefeated teams will happen today. Defense and rebounds will be the keys for a Jackrabbit win. Those parts allow for the transition game to happen. 2 talented teams coached by 2 talented head coaches should draw some attention to the frigid areas of South Dakota. With the exception of Watson missing from the current yotes lineup, both teams should be healthy. This is a game not to be missed. There should be a little Frost magic available even during the Covid times. Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

I think this first game is highly important. The loser has quite a bit of pressure to not be swept tomorrow night. We are due for quick start out of the gate!

Adding Theisen to Burckhard and Blom gives the Jacks three post bodies to mix it up with Sjerven. Sjerven averages four fouls a game, so go at her and see if she gets in foul trouble. And her backup isn't nearly as good as Frederick was, so sitting Sjerven on the bench means advantage Jacks.

Jacks are going to need scoring from more than Selland and Vlastuin if they are going to win this. Irwin played the entire quarter and didn't get a shot.

That no-call with a few seconds left was brutal.

Despite lopsided fouls and playing basically the first half with more of our bench than normal, we clearly came out more ready to play. Selland is by far the best player on the court and our freshmen aren’t showing any fear for now. These games always seem to come down to the wire though with lots of adjustments at the half.

Jacks need to clean up the turnovers. It's kind of scary when USD pressures Theuninck and Greer up top..

Greer is a liability out there.

The USeD fans don't want to admit it, but they are far from the team of last year. So is SDSU! Play smart and this is a W

Wow, Sjerven barrels over Selland. Could’ve been a flagrant on Sjerven but it goes against Selland. Sjerven misses both so Jacks are still up 15. USD offense has to be at a season low for output so far tonight.

And now Sjerven gets called for elbowing Selland a few plays later. Lead now up to 20 for the Jacks.
