Great to see Irwin back. Her defense of Carda really turned the game around and fueled the run in the 2nd that allowed us to pull away. Defense had stretches where they looked absolutely dominate. Offense shaky but hopefully that will come as the season progresses and players grow in their roles.

Watching Ronsiek she sure looks like the real deal. She would have looked much better in our blue than Creighton.

That’s a game we probably drop with last year’s team. Selland’s ability is such a difference maker. Among other things, tonight she found her way to the line multiple times when the offense was unusually clunky.

A big opportunity comes with the Gonzaga game. A win would almost certainly put SDSU in the top-25.

Wearing a mask in the game is a player's option for Creighton. according to the TV announcers. Not all of the team's players wear one while playing, but several do. A tip of the hat to them.

Ronsiek looked really good for Creighton. This year’s Jackrabbits team looks a lot more polished. Less turnovers and bad shot decisions. Greer keeps on surprising. Like the announcers said, all of the 3 point shots were open. Selland is driving to the paint, and just seems stronger and more athletic, which is great to see after such a bad injury. Hopefully they avenge the Yotes’ loss to Gonzaga.
