Creighton returns to Frost with lower expectations than many years. They are picked for the middle of the Big East with 18 year head coach Flanery. The Bluejays have had 2 games. Northern Iowa and Drake both defeated Creighton. They have preseason all conference guard Carda as the feature player. The Jackrabbits played 9 against ISU. The depth appears good at this time as Irwin and Theisen did not suit up for the first game. Go Jacks!!

Creighton is always a battle for us. O’Gorman grad Emma Ronsiek has already made an impact for them. Also, the Jacks were essentially #26 in the AP poll today as the first team just outside of the top 25. A win tonight could bump them up into the rankings soon.

Believe Scotty Kwas mentioned that one of their players was ruled out due to COVID protocol, and the masks were being worn as precaution

Jacks were up comfortably but thanks to the ridiculous gifting of a 3 that shouldn’t have counted, Creighton gets within 5. Ronsiek leading the second half for Creighton.

Great start to the season with these first two wins. Lots of good defensive adjustments which opened up the offense. Nice to see Irwin back. I also think Byom is going to be really good as she develops down the road.

I'm still baffled about that call. It made no sense. The shot was WAY after the call. Curious what AJ thinks of that call.
