The Jackrabbit women take the floor in Grand Forks tonight needing 1 more win to lock the 2 seed for the SLT. UND lost 6 seniors from last season and they have relied on some younger players and even pulled a redshirt in response to some injury. I would expect a stronger game from the FHawks than the Mastodons were able to muster at Frost. UND is 7-4 at The Betty. The SDSU staff will need to put together a more physical game tonight as the FHawks are likely ready to rumble. 1 week from tonight is the end of the regular season. Go Jacks!!

Saturday will be a demonstration of the Jackrabbits enabling the yotes confidence or bringing some game to make it interesting. USD is set to have another undefeated conference season. This time around they could actually get a couple of games in the Big Dance and skip the WNIT. Their Coach P is doing a great job coaching and she will be running most of her players(recruits) next year. Meanwhile some of the Jackrabbit fans are wandering around with their heads hung while the team is 12-2 with 2 frontline players on the bench with injuries. The win at UND is the 20th win of the season which had a difficult OOC. It has been frustrating to see some game results like the trip to Vermillion and the Denver game. It was even hard to watch the win over NDSU. It is still too early to cash in the chips for the season as the program is still holding practice and I would expect more than a just showing up for a game. The 0-9 from Thueninck and Stapleton could change big time in the next game which may be good timing to get on track.
