SDSU 99 USD 83, 2nd half dominated by Jacks. Excellent win by the Jackrabbit women! Not unexpected, of course. I was able to listen via the KJJQ website. I can’t get through on the WNAX link so I will be listening to the USD webcast. I don’t mind.
Quite an offense show by both teams with both shooting 50% or better. I suspect our defense could have been better but the flow of the game favored scoring and offense. Koupal showed why she is the leading candidate for national player of the year. Much more balances attack by SDSU proved more effective with everyone contributing.
The only disappointing stat was the rebounding, with a USD team which does not rebound well rebounding with the Jacks 32/32. USD remains without a win at Frost since the 1990 season! Way to go Jackrabbits. Now make it a clean sweep! How many were at the womens game? A full house I suspect.
