SCSU jumped into the #3 spot in the region. That means are women will be playing the #2, #5, and #3 teams in the region is succesive games. Ideally we would win all 3. I think at best we can go 2-1 but 1-2 is a real possibility.

Concordia's losses are to St. Cloud and Northern and they have defeated SDSU, NDSU and MSU this year. Other than a game with Northern, in St. Paul, I don't see another loss on their schedule. Given their rank in the region and quality wins, they look like a lock for the #1 seed and hosting the regional.

    NORTH CENTRAL

    1. Concordia-St. Paul 19-2
    2. North Dakota State 18-3
    3. St. Cloud State 16-5
    4. South Dakota State 17-4
    5. North Dakota 17-4
    6. South Dakota 19-5
    7. Nebraska-Kearney 16-5
    8. Winona State 15-7
    9. Fort Lewis 16-5
    10. Minnesota Duluth 13-9

If the regional can't be at Frost I don't mind having it in my backyard.

Being selfish, if SDSU doesn't host it would be nice to have the games here in the Twin Cities.

From an atmosphere stand point, I've never been to a game at Concordia, but I would guess that it would be as close to a neutral court as we would find. Obviously playing anywhere in the NCC gives the host school a definate home court advantage. I think you'd get a pretty good mix of fans coming to Concordia and take away any advantage one team may have.

It's a high school gym atmosphere in St. Paul. I 'm certain Jack fans would be here in big numbers!

It will be an easy trip up from Rochester to St. Paul. Hopefully, I will be in Brookings the weekend of the regional, watching the men play.
