Rutgers is rated #17 but would be even higher ranked if its best player was suited up. Apparently the best player is taking the first semester off for "personal reasons" (nobody knows what that means).

The Netherlands is 7 hours later than Central Time....the weather is about 50 degrees and kinda rainy, which it will stay like all winter...so better than SD. The summer usually only get to around 70 degrees or so.

Nearly 40 degrees here today. It's been a nice Fall...very wet October but above average temps. No snow yet. I spoke with a relative in Palm Springs CA this morning...they had snow the other day.
Maybe this global warming business isn't all bad.Comment

We're having some control problems...fouls etc. Not hitting out shots. Maybe getting out of the offensive plan a little. But, Rutgers has a strong defense.

Of course, it's difficult to get an accurate feel for the game by listening to the radio report but in spite of the score, we're not totally embarassing ourselves. Rutgers is a very good D-1 ball club.
