Carda Scores 30, Grabs 22 Boards As Watchdogs Edge Parker

BERESFORD -- The Beresford Watchdogs kept their distance after Parker closed a four-point lead quickly to get to within one, but in the end Beresford ended up claiming the 58-57 victory to put the icing on a cake that featured the Watchdogs being down by five at halftime in basketball action on Tuesday night.

Beresford was led by Natalie Carda's incredible 30-point, 22-rebound double-double. Katie Gylfe added a double-double of her own with 12 points and 10 rebounds while Rachel Jensen also accounted for four steals.

Parker had Abby Plucker score 19 points in the tough loss. Katelynn Kunz had 17 points, Crystal Abbas was the top glass cleaner with 10 rebounds, and Casey Peters had eight steals and seven assists.

Beresford also claimed victory in the J.V. game as the Watchdogs topped Parker 28-17.
