  • Re: Megan Vogel

Frankly, I'd like to see her play in Europe... get her name built up and then come back to the WNBA. And if it doesn't happen, well, she has her master's (or WILL have it), so coaching is obviously not out of the question.
    I am Ed. Fear me.

        From Terry's blog: http://www.argusleader.com/apps/pbcs...rgusleader.com

Former SDSU women's basketball standout and graduate assistant Megan Vogel has signed a one-year contract with WWK Donau-Ries. The club won the championship in German's second division last year, and will play in the top league this year.

Noticed Megan was introduced to the German fans via the teams website. It's great that they believe getting Megan was a coup and they will be looking for her to be their go-to player. Similar to her time here at SDSU.

I love the way that stuff translates:

"By Megan Vogel, a 23-year-old US-American, is the management of the Danube BG Ries Basketball-Women's a real coup succeeded. Happy circumstances and negotiating skills could truth, of which every German Basketball Association dream: a player of the American professional league WNBA may be assigned to Germany to get its own team with a player to strengthen the United States at the highest level attention.
Megan was the outstanding player of everything in their College in South Dakota."
                  Holy nutmeg!
