      SDSU 41
      TSU  31
      13:13 remaining

TSU's Tamara Thompson has 16 points, seem to be the only TSU force. SDSU bal with 5 players with 6 to 9 points.

Thompson is only 5 for 20 from the field. The Texas State team is only shooting 28.3%

        Jacks are shooting 38.1%

They seem to be battling well with us on the boards 33-29 our advantage. If they weren't shooting so poorly this would be tight. Looking for a little run from the Jacks, a couple of 3's would help.

Wrong team made the 3, 48-39 Jacks lead.

59-44, nice little run by the Jacks. Make FT's and handle the ball and we finish going away.

I had to come and check this score as soon as I got home from work. I read the story of the Hoffman girls in the Argus Leader today and I take some satisfaction that some kids who leave for greener pastures end up losing to us. I'm not sure if that's petty or what, but it's a little sweeter beating those teams.

I have no idea what transpired during recruiting of the Hoffman twins so I won't say that they chose Texas St. over SDSU. Perhaps SDSU wasn't offering what Texas St. was. I will agree, even if it is petty, that beating this team does seem more satisfying with the Hoffman twins on the team than without.

Now its Alabama on Sunday at Frost then on the road to Marquette and Colorado. I think 2-3 would be great but a clean sweep is not out of the question.

9 players played over 10 minutes each. Nice depth. Something the men's team lacks right now. I am concerned that given the level of competition and talent over the next several games that fatigue will play a large role for the men.

After seeing their shooting style, I hope State doesn't have anything to offer the Hoffman girls. They can handle the ball well but the shooting release wasn't normal for me. It must be working so far for them with getting offers from D1 schools.

Megal is a monster on the boards. She might be 5'11" but she can jump like a mother. They couldn't guard her in the first half. Andrea had a nice shooting game too. Heather played a lot of minutes in the first half.

The ultimate play of the game was when all the Texas State fans got kicked out of the lower reserved section.

The Texas State offense was have three players dribble around the top of the key so the Jacks would switch. Then they throw the ball to the forward or Thompson and they would bull rush the hoop. Can't say Thompson has ever met a shot she didn't like or take.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

Yea we had nice balance with 8 ladies scoring and it appears we had a different starting line up. Oh well I guess they are not undefeated anymore.

Thompson who seems to be their work horse was off a little. 7 of 27 from the field and   1-3 in 3 pt attempts.   but was 5-7 from the line.  Did we do something to make her force shots ?

What was the Att. for the game?
