The Jacks have had a fabulous year in their second year of DI Basketball and are on pace to get another 20 win season. They just beat their rival NDSU by 39 and hopefully they will follow up with a win in Fargo (no small task) Are they though the best womens basketball team in the Dakota's? The Und women's team has opened the season 25-0 and have had some excellant recruiting success since the Jacks and Bison departed DII for greener pastures. Granted the Sioux are not playing the level of competition the Jacks or Bison are. Since I'm banned from Sioux Sports (not sure why) but they hate dissenting opinions over there I wanted to bring up the topic here. If the Sioux decide to move up to DI we might see a return of this game, but probably not before Vogel departs after next year. I fondly remember that championship game in St Paul at Concordia where the Jacks pulled it out to advance to our last DII Elite 8. If a game were played this year who would win? I don't think it's automatic as the Sioux are very talented regardless of the level of competition they are playing. Here are some common opponents this year.

The Crookston game on the road is a puzzler. I would love to see this game! I think the Jacks win at home and a neutral site, but would struggle in Grand Forks in the new Betty in front of a partisian crowd. I know this is all hypothetical, but have been curious what other think and if anyone has seen the Sioux play this year.
