    Solari Article #3 this morning
"Right after we beat Nebraska (to start the season), I was like, 'Oh, we can do this,' " said guard Andrea Verdegan, who will be a junior next season. "It was kind of surprising that we did so well, but then, it wasn't too."

Verdegan pointed out that the Jacks lost games this season to less-talented teams such as Colorado and San Jose State - which likely cost them a spot in the WNIT. Their early-season inability to string together back-to-back good performances also hurt their chances.

"I do feel like the players have a good understanding for how good a year they had," said the 31-year-old coach, who finished his sixth full season. "I don't think any of the things that happened at the end take away from beating Nebraska, Wisconsin, Alabama, and finishing with a 19-9 record in our first year."
    "I think we'll be OK"

Wow, I forgot just how young AJ was when he took over the women's program!
