PG - Verdegan
SG - Vogel
F - Warkenthien
F - Boever
C- Grimsrud

Of course, AJ typically goes pretty deep when it comes to giving his bench players time on the floor.

I like this starting lineup.  The only change I see is Grimsrud starting the season with Boever becoming the starter after the first few games.

My guess:

PG - Verdegan
SG - Vogel
F - Warkenthien
F - Boever
C- Grimsrud

Of course, AJ typically goes pretty deep when it comes to giving his bench players time on the floor.

If Boever is as good as everyone says, I could see your 5 getting the nod. I doubt they will replace Grimsrud with a 6'0 forward though as some have suggested. They list three 6'2 girls as centers on the roster one of them will start in my opinion.

I inadvertantly left Nicole Helsper off the roster lisiting I posted above. She will be a welcome addition to the team, giving depth at the guard position. Another great SD player choosing SDSU.

C - 6-2 Laura Nielsen - yet to be seen

I think AJ will put 5 of the best athletes/players on the floor regardless of size and position. My gut after seeing her play is Boever will find a way to get on the floor very quickly.

I believe Anderson and Nielson will see plenty of court time. Muckenhirn is not quick enough to play the point.

if we got 2 quick 6'2" girls with a lot of athletic talent i say we should go to a twin towers type of offense even though we do have a lot of girls over 5'11" on the team. we'll see AJ always puts the best players on the court and has good success with them.

Ketty C. is a PLAYER! She will find time this year because she will do all the dirty work if that is what it takes. She is a tough kid. Boever is a supposed to be a big time player, but I do not see her at a 5 spot. AJ has a lot of basketball players, he has much flexibility.
