According to the ESPN preseason poll, USC is ranked No. 22.

I hope they are still ranked in the top 25 when they come to Brookings. I really hope that the athletic department promotes this game and we have a really big crowd at the game. When the Jacks played USC two years ago in LA, I believe less than 500 people showed up for the game. Looking at last years attendance, USC averaged 1,528 per game and SDSU averaged 1,905. I would really like to see at least 3,000 at the game. 5,000 would be great. I know Bluehat does a good job of rallying the students into showing up. I hope he can pull another rabbit out of his bluehat and get a good student section going.

As you can see we only need 300 to 400 more per game to break into the top 50 in attendance. I think that is possible, with future top 30's once we start playing a conference schedule.
Go State!!! 8-) 8-) 8-)
