I would just like to point out that our opponent Virginia on the 24th lost tonight to the Liberty Lady Flames from the Big South Conference.... obviously they must have a pretty good team since they received an automatic bid to the ncaa tournament last year... but still surprises me because Virginia has been receiving votes for the top 25.... but I guess if we can take out USC then Liberty can take out Virginia... And if Liberty is a good team this shouldn't hurt our RPI very much.... Plus with Virginia losing it makes me feel better playing against them especially on a neutral court.... I hope our girls will perform well which I know they will... and if they make it to play Maryland let one Baylor that a MAJOR step and should be noticed everywhere!!!!!

We were on the plane with the Baylor team coming over here to Freeport, and talked to some of the players. We started talking about the SDSU-USC game, and the Baylor players said "Oh, yeah, we've heard about you guys" in a pretty emphatic tone of voice. This is from the team that won the national championship two years ago.

One reason why schools become elite programs is that they don't overlook up-and-coming teams like SDSU.
