It'll will be a fun game to watch. Sounds like a lot of the parents are making the trip. Plus filbert has a good group of people going with him. I can't wait to be cheering in Mizzou Arena.

        Re: Missouri

I'll be listening on the radio. I'm not aware of any TV or Internet viewing options. Go, Jacks. This would be a big win against a team with a good record.

Thanks for the link, I am now connected to the gametracker and ready to go. I'll probably listen to the game via WNAX FM and having real time stats will add to the experience.

Vikes are up 7-0. Good start to the afternoon.

                  Shh! Tigers hunt ’Rabbits

                  By MECHELLE VOEPEL
                  The Kansas City Star

The Missouri women’s lone loss thus far was at perennial power Stanford. The Tigers, 9-1, have handled all other foes, but today’s game should be a particularly tough test. South Dakota State already has knocked off two Big 12 teams and is the type of squad that could cause MU trouble. The Tigers face South Dakota State at 1 p.m. at Mizzou Arena.

The Jackrabbits, who won the Division II national championship in 2003, are in their last season of transitioning to Division I. They will become members of the Mid-Continent Conference next season.

SDSU got off to a big halftime lead at Kansas on Dec. 6, and then held off the Jayhawks’ rally to win 53-48.

The Jackrabbits also don’t beat themselves and are led by a player who may have a shot at competing at the pro level. Megan Vogel, a 5-foot-11 senior guard/forward, is averaging 16.9 points and 5.8 rebounds. She’s shooting 47.2 percent from three-point range (17 of 36).  .  .  .  (read more)

                    Re: Missouri

Tigers are playing tough, matching or exceeding our intensity. Man, what a tough schedule for the Jacks.

Lets hit a few 3's and extend their defense. They aren't letting us run.

They have the MO and we aren't hitting any 3's. Still hanging in there, though.

                        Re: Missouri

Tigers take advantage of momentum and sloppy play by Jacks. We aren't hitting any outside shots.

                        31-22 Tigers.

Scotty says they practiced at 7:00 am today. That would be tough.

Jacks down 39-30 at halftime. The only games that the Jacks trailed at halftime, they lost. We will see if they can turn this one around.

39-30 at the half. Need to hit some 3's if we want to win this game on the road. I think we can do it.
