        WOW!!!

I'm guessing SJSt is going to be glad to leave the Dakotas.

Long trip...Lose to NDSU...Bus Ride...cold weather...rain, ice, snowstorm...rear ends handed to them by the Jacks......

          Re: San Jose State

San Jose State has had a lot of issues this year involving star players and coaching staff. The girls played almost a perfect game, I believe everyone who played scored. Almost had 3 players with 20. Hopefully after 6 days off the girls will be ready for practice next Tuesday.

Impressive. This team might hit the 100-point mark a time or two before the season is over.

We could have done it tonight, but Coach pulled most of the starters early (about 20 min. total).

BROOKINGS - Anybody thinking that Wednesday had the makings of an upset - South Dakota State hosting winless, unglamourful San Jose State in its final contest before Christmas break - was clearly overthinking.

The Jackrabbits did exactly what they should have, opening with an 18-1 run and finishing with more points than it ever had against an NCAA Division I opponent, beating the Spartans 98-63 on Wednesday night before a crowd of 1,533 at Frost Arena to run their home win streak to 15 games - seventh longest in the nation.

"Our game plan was definitely to come out right away and get a good start and push through the whole night," SDSU senior wing Megan Vogel said. "We knew we were going home for break, but we had to finish the game tonight and get things done before we left." . . . (read more)
