UVSC Women host South Dakota State

Utah Valley State (10-8) will begin United Basketball League play by hosting South Dakota State (13-5) today at 7:05 p.m. in the McKay Center. North Dakota State (7-8) will be in Orem on Saturday at 3:05 p.m. in a game that will be played in the Shurian Family Activity Center.

Gametracker for both games and audio for Saturday's game can be found at WolverineGreen.com while audio for Thursday's contest will be availble via South Dakota State's broadcast at www.GoJacks.com.

The Wolverines are in the midst of a season worst five-game losing streak after falling at UC Santa Barbara way back on January 11th. This will be the first meeting ever between UVSC and South Dakota State while the Wolverines have faced North Dakota once before, a 76-57 UVSC win last February in Orem.

UVSC will travel to play both schools in mid-February as part of 10 United Basketball League Games. . . . (read more)

Jacks trail 48-50 midway through the second half. UVSC is playing like they expect to win. SDSU just seems to be going through the motions in the second half.

Jacks and Vogel make a little run but our defense is not strong on the interior. UVSC has shot at least 20 FT's tonight. Fairbanks has 21 points.

Jacks lead by 4 with the ball, about 10 minutes left.

We're down 78-77 with 1.3 ticks left...Vogel gets fouled......ties the game with the first FT......Vogel comes through with the second FT to give the Jacks a 79-78 lead.
