Today the 5-6 Phoenix welcome the 7-6 Jackrabbits. It is seldom the won loss records are that close to .500. The injury bug may be hurting both squads. The yotes handled GB earlier in the season. GB also won an overtime against Central Michigan on the road and beat Missouri at Green Bay. Miss St, Depaul, Maine and Marist added losses to GB. Paiton was in a boot earlier in the week. Hopefully that comes off by today. Tori Nelson should be in better condition today as well. A win today keeps the Jackrabbits over .500 where some thought we would be lucky if everyone was healthy. Go Jacks!!

Irwin has the potential but both last season and this season have been disappointing offensively for her.

We need more players to avoid turnovers and make free throws. Nelson and Larson could pretend they are the new Miller and Guebert. Tough game on the road against a team in similar place as the Jackrabbits.

It would be great if we could do the fantasy basketball to draft new players through the season to fill in for the injuries and disappointments. It is real positive that you added "most likely"

Hopefully Theisen's knee injury isn't serious. Didn't look good at the end of the game - she stayed on the bench and the G.B people came to her to shake hands. AJ didn't sound super concerned. Said they would have to see if she can come back right away or if she has to miss some time.

Hats off to Tagyn for putting the scoring load on her back when the team needs her to do so with all the injuries.This game, it was mainly Tagyn and Tori, but with a scoring margin in victory of only 5 points, it was a team effort, without everyones contribution, no matter how seemingly small it may have been, we needed it.The first quarter was a physical battle, why we only scored 6, but GB only had 11, so that was good to keep them reined (sp?) in somewhat and for us to stay reasonably close. I still wonder, if we ever see it, with the whole team healthy and our bench strengthened out of necessity, just how good they can be if everyone's playing well. Hope we eventually find out, if Sellend doesn't put in for a medical red shirt and returns to the team and healthy to the degree she can be at any given time.Still things for this team to accomplish (upset the Yotes?,not used to calling it an upset)like win the SLT, perhaps the Conf title I don't think they will lose sight of that, they are all moitivated and dedicated players.

Good road win, especially with Selland and Burckhard out from the start and Theisen injured during the game. Think March, not next week. This is a good team, and it's developing valuable depth.
