The Eagles have been on the fly this season as the 0-7 record finds 6 games on the road. They will fly to Vermillion after tonight. The Eagles will have 1 more home game in the OOC playing Niagra. Coppin St has been tabbed to finish 10 in the 11 team MEAC. 6'1" Chance Graham leads the team with 12.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per contest. This should be a good home game for the women to have after the competitive Cancun Challenge. Go Jacks!!

The Coppin women play in the D-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. They've been to the NCAA tourney three times - most recently in 2008. They've also been in the WNIT a couple times, most recently in 2009. The school is based in Baltimore. As OldHare pointed out, they came into this game 0-7.This space for lease.Comment

Also, Kalle Theisen is sooo much better than her first few games, Stapleton will be a huge asset if her 3pt shooting continues to get much better, she's pretty athletic at her position,Thueninck playing pretty good.....the whole team has improved somewhat, glad progress is being made, they all work hard. Just think they have all gained confidence and are playing and getting better. Practices must be pretty good for them all to show improvement. Good to see. When Larson rejoins the team and with better play off the bench, we shouldn't miss much of a beat when substituting. Players can stay fresher for hard fought contests at the end . A good season continuing, I think.Comment
