Guilty! I would have been thrilled with one win, considering our all-conference post was freezing with the rest of us in SD.
Our outside shooting is going to be way down from last year but the inside scoring, offensive rebounding and defense look outstanding - even without Larson. Impressive
This team is really good when Burckhard and Selland are on the floor but not so much when they aren’t. They really struggled in the 3rd when those two had to go to the bench but the game instantly turned back in our favor when they came back in in the 4th

I'm only listening to the radio broadcast, but doesn't it sound like the Jacks are not getting favorable fouls calls? They racked up a bunch in that 3rd quarter and Notre Dame is suddenly back in it.
There were 3 or 4 calls in the 3rd quarter that looked iffy to me.
An ardent supporter of the hometown team should go to a game prepared to take offense, no matter what happens.Robert Benchley US actor, author, & humorist (1889 - 1945)
Won this game with another tremendous start, and refused to get rattled losing the lead, showed great grit and determination and the heart of a champion to finish the game and get the win. This season really turned around fast after two hard losses to start the season. Going to be a fun season from here on out. Congrats on getting 1,000 , another milestone and tribute to our program, well deserved!.

Agree they are both pretty much the focus of the opposing defenses with Larson out too, but we have other great players who play their heart out too and who, without them, we wouldn't be nearly the team we are with them. We are fortunate enough to have the right roster to be a pretty snarly team and it's fun to watch them all contribute to who we are.
It was good to see them hold their composure. It seems like we have folded too many times in the past. Looking ahead to tomorrow we have went 33-109 from deep in six games while FGCU has went 95-272 in seven games! We average 63.3 PPG compared to 82.7 for FGCU. It will be interesting to see if FGCU can keep their legs underneath them for 3 games in 3 days?

Absolutely. I wasn’t saying the rest of them are not good. Most of them are really young and have some growing up and learning to do. It was more to say how important those 2 are going to be this year and going forward beyond this year.
With losing Macy we needed someone who could step up and make a play and Selland is that person. Even if she didn’t directly make the play, the team just seemed to settle down a little bit with them in there.
