Updated Bracketology has us flipped with USD. SDSU is now the #6 in the UConn bracket. Good news is, at the moment, we wouldn't face them until the Elite 8. It looks like a really good draw if it happened that way.

If all four teams would win...SDSU would face Oregon State and USD would face Oregon.

Latest ESPN bracketolgy has SDSU as a 6 seed playing Tennessee (11 seed) in Iowa City. My guess is, when the D1 decision was announced you could’ve received some nice odds on this bet. Will SDSU ever be projected as a higher seed than Tennessee in the Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament? Pretty amazing when you think about it.....

Tennessee still needs to win to get there as well. I was listening to the halftime and between games yesterday and Charlie Creme indicated that Tennessee could break that long tourney streak with some losses.

I would guess she may have been available Saturday if USD was the game. Speculating that she has lighter duty in game against PFW.

Agree on holding Selland out. She still has a week to rest it if they hold her out Saturday. If needed, they could even keep her on the bench Monday and see how things are going without her.

The new AP poll came out today. SDSU and USD are tied at 26/27 with 23 votes each. We need a loss by FSU, Drake, Rice or UCLA for one or both to bump into the top-25. SDSU has an RPI of 28 and USD is 37.

We obviously didn't need Myah against W. Ill , we won by 38 in that one. If her foot isn't 100% against PFW, I'm thinking she could heal up another day, but if her foot is ok, she should get back in the fray. She's probably chomping at the bit anyway, that's the way thoroughbreds are, high spirited and eager to go.She's a competitor, all the Jacks are.

Latest bracketology by Charlie Creme still has SDSU as a 6 seed and USD as a 7.

#6 SDSU vs. #11 Ohio (25-4).
#7 USD vs. #10 Kansas State (21-11).

Ohio's four losses were all in conference play to teams near the top of the standings. Their biggest non-conference win may have been at Purdue (19-15 and finished 10th in the B1G).

K State had 8 losses to ranked teams and 2 to teams on the bubble. Their biggest loss was to Kansas who was 10-3 at the time but the Jayhawks closed out the season 2-15 after beating the Wildcats.

Looking at teams in the 5, 6, and 7 seeds; Drake at #7 appears to be a team that could surprise some. They finished the season at 25-5 with losses to Notre Dame, SDSU, Iowa State, Iowa and Missouri State. They beat South Carolina, USD, Creighton, Rutgers and Nebraska in non-conference play.
