UND comes to town in 6th place at 5-6 in conference. Klabo is keeping the Fighting Hawks from sliding further down the standings. They come to Brookings riding a 2 game win streak over Omaha & NDSU. They are doing about what the preseason poll predicted. At this point, they have escaped the bottom 3 places and appear to be solidly in the SLT mix. Do not look for the Hawks to even their record in the Summit today. The Jackrabbits should take care of business and keep a hold on the tie for first place. This is another game for underclassmen to have good games. Go Jacks!!

Scotty just said that Selland has a boot on her foot and is being held out as a precaution.

Foot injury suffered against Omaha a few weeks ago but she was playing through it. They want her to be 100% so holding out today.

Didn't she have a foot injury last year?

Jacks up 13-2. Burckhard can hold her own in place of Selland. The question is who comes off the bench for bigs.

Not getting all the way to the hoop much anymore, with their big physical players defending the paint, the ball gets stopped with no where to go. This has been a problem for awhile now, getting it half way and getting the ball stopped with heavy defense making the kick out very difficult , the opposition has wised up to the kick-out to the perimeter, and it's getting harder to do. We need more players attacking, not just one who gets stopped 1/2 way all the time. It has to be sending more and going for more put backs to get some points once in awhile. We have to mix our attack up more, especially in Conference games second time around with these teams.JMO

The Midco TV announcers, Tom Nieman and Brad Newitt, repeatedly go out of their way to talk about how well North Dakota is playing. But come on, they're 20 points behind. The Jacks are up 63-43 at the end of three quarters. Overall, I like Midco, though.

Larson is really playing well. She doesn't get as much recognition as Miller, Guebert and Selland, but I hate to think of where the Jacks would be without her.

I liked what we were able to do without Selland though. Keep her out as long as needed.

It was a really flat game from here in the crowd at Frost. We’re all waiting for the big one two weeks from now.

Selland certainly shouldn't be needed at Omaha on Wednesday.
