    GDT:Jackrabbits vs Golden Eagles @ Frost Arena Battle for First place

    The Lamb Bonanza will feature a game that is for conference pecking order as two 3-1 teams square off. ORU has lost only to UND at Mabee. They are 5-4 on the road with a win at PFW & Omaha. The Golden Eagles are scoring about 70 ppg and allowing about 65. Jackrabbits are 16-6 in this series winning the last 11(maybe back to Finkbiener). It is likely 10 players will play for ORU today as Beatty and Lippe clock 30 minutes or more and 2 more players will average high 20's. The best wins of their season may be at Baxter Arena in Omaha and a win over WIU at home. Frost Arena is not likely to be a good place for Golden Eagles today and the Jackrabbits make it 12 in a row over ORU. Enjoy the lamb. Go Jacks!!

    Good defense and extremely good rebounding overcome a very subpar shooting day. This was ORU’s big chance to finally knock off SDSU after something like 11 straight losses. They had no chance with all the rebounds we got (21 offensive). Nice effort by the Jacks.

      Good to see Irwin put together a good second half. Has to be one of Macy's worst scoring games of her career - one bucket and two free free throws.

        Irwin at least wasn’t a liability in this game. Made up for poor shooting by playing solid defense and being very aggressive on the offensive glass.

        The bench continue to be meh. Miah was an absolute beast!

          It's a long Conference season, seems every game is going to be a grind. Road wins are not a gimme, as USD can attest to, and home games are hard fought. We are going back on the road for a short road trip in a always tough environment to play at Grand Forks, so take the win and prepare for the next battle...go jackrabbits!
