See you at Frost.
Bluehat, did you not see that NDSU beat IPFW by 17 points in Fargo on Thursday. They may have size, but if they can't beat NDSU it tells me that they are even slower than the Bison. I say we win by 30-40 points if we keep playing the way we have.

I saw that...It all depends on how we start out the first 10 minutes of the game as to what kind of margin we will see. Anything is possible. I'm just saying if we play like we have been playing its going to be a blow out. If we have a slow start it could be a good one,,,maybe.

Jacks playing well again and lead 35-19. Must be the hometown refs. I think there is about 5 minutes left in the half.

At the half Jacks lead 49-25.  Lets hang 100 on them.  Gonna be tough but nothing is impossible for this team.

66-27 Jacks make a run to open the half. 15 minutes to play. We could get 100.

I wonder if the ladies have figured out that margin-of-victory is taken into account in many of the computer rankings :-)

No doubt they do.  After a bit of a snub by the NIT last year they are trying to secure their well-deserved spot in the post-season.  Leave no doubt as they say.

Jacks now up 87-36 with 8:30 to play.  Vogel has 30 points.

97-40 with 5 minutes left. Vogel has 32 points on the bench. Glad I asked for 80 points, I'll need them all.

I'm sorry. I goofed up. I thought we would only win by 30-40. I'll do more homework for my pre-game analysis next week.

Megan's 32 is a career high; I hope we'll get to see to see a few more sepeical games from her in the next few weeks before her playing days at SDSU are over.

Boever is showing us the future. I'm expecting her and Jenn to rip apart the Mid-Con next season.

                                Re: IPFW

Just got back from the game. That was a complete performance. I got the sense that AJ had an eye on the scoreboard a bit trying to get a very big win. Seems like it makes sense. When you're playing teams that can hurt your RPI, even if you win, it makes sense to play the starters a lot (and when you're 40 points up, even playing the starters 10 minutes in the second half is a lot) to push the margin into "Wow!" territory.

Impressions: Vogel is just amazing. Warkenthien is a complete player. I got down on the floor for a bit tonight. You don't realize just how big and athletic Warkenthien is until you see her up close. Maria Boever has a terrific touch around the basket and is going to be a star.

That was a lot of fun to watch. I talked to Megan briefly after the game and she's starting to realize she only has a handful of home games left. She seemed a little sad. I hope the fans realize what a treat it is to see a player like that perform and show up for the final three like they did tonight. The clock is ticking and she knows it. Expect some more career nights from Megan.
                                Holy nutmeg!
