8 seed taking on Villanova, winner probably will get Notre Dame in South Bend.

Running into the Irish if the Jacks win would be tough, but having played them recently would help to deal with the "awe" factor of playing a #1 seed.

Wonder if State would have gotten up to the #6 line had they won any of the USD/Green Bay games.

Maybe - if they win two of those three.

An 8 shows how high the ceiling is. I wonder where we’d be if we held on against Louisville. A #4 and host site is not out of the question somewhere down the line.

hmmmm 2 1/2 hours drive east to get the kids, turn around drive 4hr 15 to South Bend, Ind for game, then 1hr 30 back home. doable. then reverse the drive sunday hmmmm

Maybe, but think that pairing matches up well for them. See them making the Sweet 16.

No size advantage for Villanova - they go 6'2 and 6'1.

No NCAA tourney for USD. They should use this as a lesson. Schedule tougher.
