GDTP: WSU Shockers @ SDSU Jackrabbits

The 5-8 Shockers come to Brookings with a 3 game win streak over UMKC, Chicago St, and Alcorn St. They are led by their new coach Keitha Adams following 16 years at UTEP. The Shockers have plenty(9) of players who get double digit minutes. The guards are generally smaller than the Jackrabbit guards and they will play a few 6'-6'2" forwards. 6'1" R-Sr. Bessard is the leading scorer and rebounder and most free throw. The Shockers only shoot 21% of their shots from the 3 pt line. SDSU is the 3rd Summit team to face WSU this year as WIU and USD have both defeated the Shockers in Wichita. The Jackrabbits should make it 3-0 for the Summit League against WSU. Merry Christmas. Go Jacks!!

Only Midco games are on ESPN3 and they certainly won't be in Brookings every night. Gojacks.com is the way to go. $10 a month or so.

Jacks are looking sharp on both ends so far. 21-11 after one. This one will be all about how long they can stay focused because the talent gap is pretty wide.

Stevens is back in after missing a bunch of games.

Came out strong,built about a 10 pt lead,it's been tit- for- tat since,just maintaining that 10 pt margin....oops a 9-0 run while I've been typing,now 34-2o Jacks

well midco should be, they do a good job, IMHO. I am a little hesitant with getting it when over the years it seems to be problematic and issues from what I have read on this board.

The Jacks were rolling tonight - shooting over 65% most of the game. That kind of effort will go a long way in the Summit. Hopefully they can take the show on the road and get one more quality win at FGCU.

Getting Stevens back is going to make a difference. She played well, considering that she missed the last 8 games. As SteelSD alluded to, Thompson could probably use a little more help in the paint. Larson seems to getting better there as well.

Wichita's previous worst loss was to Oklahoma St at their place by 24. Against #12 ranked Tennessee they only lost by 12. So....,I know we had our best shooting performance of the season so far against them,but they can play really good teams tough, so I'm really pleased with this win tonight.I agree getting key players back into the rotation really makes us a much better all around team.

Yes, the 4 to 5 player substitution process was in full play starting in the 2nd quarter. That's fun to see AJ run the other team ragged and the 3 1K players time to relax. But Macie still lead Jacks with 22, one of 4 in double figures. 950th win for the Jacks. Should see 1000 wins in 2019-20 season.
