It is Panther week in Brookings. The WBB takes on the Panthers first. They come to Frost with 2-3 record. They had close losses to IUPUI, double OT loss to Creighton, and a loss to UCF. They are still receiving votes in the Mid Major poll. The 2 wins were over Iowa State and Wyoming. The Jackrabbits will not be seeing any 6'5" posts in this game. The Panthers have not done well in the shooting department. 35% overall from the field and 28% from the 3 point line. That may explain their edge over opponents on the offensive glass. The Panthers are averaging 56 points per game while the Jackrabbits have over 70 points per game. It appears the Jackrabbits should run past the Panthers to improve the overall record against the Panthers to 9-3. Go Jacks!!

The 2-3 record is definitely deceiving. We should have 10+ point win if we play well, but they are definitely good enough to hand us a costly loss if the team is busy looking ahead to Louisville. These are the types of games I hope we can avoid stumbling in this year. We seem to fall into a trap or two every year and it has an effect in March.
It looks like the only video tonight is through gojacks.com and the next two games are on Midco. -

I'll write it off to looking ahead to Louisville and Oklahoma. We are WAY better than we played tonight but losing an ugly game is much worse than winning one. It's a good thing we can play some defense!
