GDT: Jackrabbits vs Wolfpack in Florida

#23 NC State is coming in at 6-0 after defeating Alabama by nearly 20 in their first game of the tourney. The Wolfpack comes in with a large advantage of points in the paint. They have 200-98 edge at this point of the season... There is a 6'5" post with some other 6' plus help. Old Dominion was their road win prior to this tourney and the closest game was against S Alabama winning by 11. A win against a ranked ACC team would be a great quality win for the Jackrabbits. I hope the Thanksgiving dinner was not too heavy for the Jackrabbits and they are ready to get this win. Go Jacks!!

the 6'5" post averages 13ppg so far. it wouldn't surprise me if she becomes a real thorn in the side of the jacks. she is pretty athletic and can get up and down the floor. jacks at 36 in sagarin rpi, while nc state sitting at 40. nc state avg'ing 72.7ppg, while allowing 50.5ppg.

Our new "smaller" lineup has not been tested by a true P5 center yet. I would guess that it is going to take some experimentation to come up with the best way to deal with such a player in a post-Ober world. I'd expect her to get her 13 points and then some. Hopefully we are sharp enough elsewhere to overcome it.

As far as I can tell, the subscription I purchased to Flohoops for the men's tournament also includes video coverage of this one. $12 would be quite a bargain if that's indeed the case.

The 6'2" starter is also dangerous (Nelson),leading shot blocker last year at 22 blocks,very athletic forward
