    GDT: Jackrabbits @ Mastodons

    We do not have Coach Paul at Ft Wayne this year and it is likely that the Mastodons will not make the trip to Sioux Falls. WIU, IUPUI, and SDSU would need to lose one of those games to the Mastodons to enable them to get into the conversation for the tournament. The Mastodons are 1-28 against the Jackrabbits. This ought to be a rebound game for SDSU who has not lost 3 games consecutively for a long time. It would have been against MTSU, UALR, and Notre Dame for the last time in 2013-14. 3 losses in a row have not happened in the Summit play. It(a loss) should not be expected today as Jackrabbits rebound and sharpen up for the SLT. Go Jacks!!

    IPFW has 1 day subscription for 5.95 to watch the game, not too bad of a deal.

      try'n to get a little fancy causes some TO problems,thankfully you can get by with some against FW.Still ahead 25-16

        FW more aggressive, that's to be expected,bigger game for them,senior day.We look flat,or else go for the spectacular,you don't have to play spectacular to beat FW,just playing consistent should do it .Jacks 32-27...... We've been subbing liberally though.37-30 at half.

          I'd like to see the Jacks work on stretching a lead,instead of maintaining a small lead ,or giving portions of it back.We seem to be able to manufacture a small lead,then hit a wall in stretching it out by committing TO's,missing open shots,silly fouls,miss ft's or something. We have to be much sharper when we play against the top 4 in the Summit.One more game after this game and we really have to crank up the intensity for the SLT in Sioux Falls.We finish our reg season games two days before the rest of the Summit league teams do, we play our last game on Feb 23rd, everyone else plays their last game on the 25th.

              Just silly observation,seems Palmer never gets the benefit of the doubt on foul calls,if it is questionable,they will whistle her for a foul.Must be her football accolades or something,she's so strong of an athlete. Just my random thoughts, probably no truth at all to it at all.I'm sure the ref's don't think that way. I digress.

                It's kind of hard getting a big impressive win against IPFW ,they are playing hard,they have a lot of fight and pride if nothing else.Hats off to them.
