    GDT: Jackrabbits @ Lady Jags

    Not the game anyone is worried about today but should be.

    Jackrabbits play in The Jungle at IUPUI, a place they have never played well at. I expect IUPUI to play WAY better than they did in Brookings and for this to be a close one the whole way. I'm also expecting a low scoring game with good defense from both teams. Would be nice to get this hard road win and stay on top of The Summit.

    Glad we have tough opponents this year in the Summit.Gotta get tough this time of year.

      Shot clock not working. Announcer will countdown the shot clock from 5 or something like that. Might have an affect on the game.

            Tough first half for the women but up 3 at the half. Ober, Thompson, Guebert, and Alexander all have 2 fouls and even the IUPUI announcer has questioned most of those calls. AJ might lose it with the refs as it has been very lopsided. To top things off the crowd is starting the shot clock countdown early with it not working to throw us off so tough combination of factors going against us. Hopefully Young can start making more shots and we can keep our other starters on the court in the second half. Need this win today to stay in 1st at the end of the season.

              Tried to fix shot clocks at the half, but didn't get it done. Should be noted they are not Daktronics.

                  That place is a joke. Having the PA announcer count down the shot clock is embarrassing for a D1 team.

                      It's a good thing there are only a couple hundred fans there or they could really cause trouble counting it down early. Hang on and scrape out a win in a game that is definitely living up to the defensive hype.

                        FINAL: SDSU 59, IUPUI 64

                        Jacks went last 6 minutes without scoring. Nobody could make a shot those last few minutes (on either team) which killed the Jacks. The ball just wouldn't drop in for many of them. Difficult loss for the lady Jacks.

                            Some really bad defense down the stretch allowing some easy back-door cuts to the basket. Ober is going to have to play more than 10 minutes if this team wants to win tough games.

                              It's always tough to win at IUPUI - doing it with Ober on the bench and Guebert not having the best game is really difficult.

                              The top-4 seeding for Sioux Falls is still anyone's guess. We need to take out some frustration on WIU next week.
