The Bison have cooled since the early part of conference season when they played the Jackrabbits tough at home and later beat the yotes in Fargo. The bison are a 5 game skid in conference play after a 3-1 start. The bison have a carload of freshmen players that get minutes. Thundstedt is still the leader as the youth are getting their experience. Look for the underclassmen to get more experience as they lose the 6th in a row in Frost tonight. Jackrabbit women should shoot better and defend better than Saturday at Omaha. It should be a good tune up game for the yotes on Saturday as the bison might want to warm up the bus at halftime. Go Jacks!!

NDSU might keep it relatively close for the first half but I don't expect much more than that. I'd be more worried about the whole "trap game" thing if we were not coming off an unexpected loss. This should be a tuneup for Saturday and hopefully it will be a chance for the bench to keep improving.Comment

Well,our big lead we worked so hard to get is now just about gone.Hate that when we suddenly go into a scoring lull ,this one over 4 min,to allow other teams to keep chugging away and ultimately get themselves back into the game.We learn to cut back on those times of not being able to score for whatever reason,or limit them to jus a couple min at most ,we'll really be an awesome team.Comment

Ober & Thompson are both having monsterous games on the inside. Thompson with 11 pts to lead Jacks at half. Only 6 TO, but 5 off those in 2nd qtr. Jacks 2-9 from long. 22 Point in paint of Jacks 34.Comment

What a GREAT DEFENSIVE 3rd Q! Lots (10?) TO by Bison lead to MANY break away EZ buckets. 34 Points in paint. Only downside is Ober has 4 fouls. AJ continues to let Clarissa play, but out to start 4th quarter. NO JACKS TO in 3rd. SDSU 60, NDSU 32 @7:30 left in game.Comment

Stifling defense against a completely overmatched team. We held them to a season low in points. Having Ober clogging up the middle apparently helps with that.
USD also had the luxury of playing us while Ober was out. Hopefully they have the same offensive struggles on Saturday.Comment
