GDT: SDSU Jackrabbits vs Montana Griz

    GDT: SDSU Jackrabbits vs Montana Griz

    The Griz had some travel problems and the early game was rescheduled to be the second game. The Griz also have had the misfortune of losing 2 senior players to ACL injury. There is a junior and 11 underclassmen of which 8 are freshmen or redshirt freshmen. They lost the preseason Big Sky MVP player before the exhibition games and then lost the other senior in the season opener against Great Falls. They had been picked 4th by the coaches in the preseason Big Sky poll. The Jackrabbits could catch the Griz trying to find an identity as the young team scrambles to fill in for the seniors. I am not certain if this link helps in the non Iowa game, but it is worth a look. Go Jacks!!

        Montana comes in with a majorly depleted roster having lost their top two scorers to injury already. Honestly, this should be a 20+ point win.

            Iowa scored a lot of points in the paint against UMass,must have seen that as a weakness against them.

                They must be giving us open looks for three's,we don't normally crank up that many so early in the game.Hard to tell just listening.

                      71-30!! UMass is not looking good after beating NDSU women last week.

                        Lots of Jacks have to take a good shot.Not one rushed or just chucked up quickly.It's what you want to put up the shot quickly,but first you have to be able to learn make those quick shots more consistently.......hear a lot of "too hard off the glass " play-by-play comments....need more practice at that .....picky,picky,ya i know....Good game so far though,keep it up Jacks!!

                        Iowa might have a chip on their shoulder being dissed by all the polls ,and probably are out to make some noise in that regard ,and they are a very good team.They will be a very tough game if we get the match up with them.Have confidence we will meet their challenge with lots of things for them to be concerned about too.Hope that match up meets expectations.I'm sure it will.

                          Jacks off to another SIUE blowout. At least 3 of bench getting time already. Lexi, Tracy, Tiffany, Palmer, Viso, already played by 7 min in 2qtr. Up 29-11.
