Gonzaga has pretty much dominated the WCC, thus the rise of the others in an effort to finally get past them and the reason they elevated their game.To the Zags credit, they've managed to stay a step ahead.

Hopefully,we've finally got the team this year, and particually next year to turn the corner and get past the first round again. Can't look past the SLT this year either,it'll be a battle also, as it always is.
Yeah, I kind of miss the matchups with Gonzaga. Even at their best we always seemed to be a tough matchup for them. Wonder if San Diego is going to want to do a home/away series to get Chynna back to SD.

That would be nice,to play USD (the other one).

I remember the game at Frost with the Zags, was back and forth the whole game , it was hot in the gym and it was such an intense battle that I think Vandersloot was getting muscle cramps form dehydration , it came down to Ketty Cornemann literally lunging at a perimeter pass and deflecting it to Jill Young ,who was subsequently fouled (she shot about 90% from the FT line) and she iced it for us.......Graham Hayes attended and wrote a good artIcle about the game for ESPN. Classic battle between two very good basketball programs, the fans in attendence got their money's worth that day.
