The Vikings come to Frost with a 0-5 record. They are a Big Sky team who has had a rough year last year and they are not getting much traction this year. The Vikings are projected to finish last in the 12 team conference for 2015-16. This should be a game that we see minutes for all the Jackrabbit players. The women have 3 home games to play now through Wednesday. The Portland State game should be the easiest of the matches. It would be surprising to see this game closer than 20.. Go Jacks!!

Re: SDSU vs. Portland State
41 points seems awfully high to me as well. My guess is that we'll struggle a bit coming out of the gate. The game might be disappointingly close at halftime but will be well in hand by the fourth quarter. I've seen our WBB team do that with lesser opponents plenty of times over the years. This just seems like one of those lackluster matchups that can lead to a bit of a letdown.
Tonight is a bit of a warm-up game for a schedule that ramps up in intensity over the next 20 days. After tonight, the Jacks have six games that could end up as a loss if they have an off night. Six chances to solidify a growing national reputation. It will be a fun to see what they can do. Tonight would be a great time to start a Frost Arena winning streak that carries over into next year.

Re: SDSU vs. Portland State
I am leaning toward the women come out with good energy since they have had since Monday to rest up from the Paradise Jam. They had a fairly successful tourney and they have been playing well. They should be able to keep ramping up their play with the confidence gained in the tournament. They also played fairly well before that in the first 3 home games. They have stayed healthy with exception of Flaata and Graettinger from earlier season injuries. Hopefully this is a boring game from the first quarter on.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Re: SDSU vs. Portland State
Hats off to Portland, not letting us go on a run, keeping us around 15 pt lead.We are just being outplayed this half. That's what's bad about three's,you make them, you bury your opponent, you miss a lot of them, you let your opponent come back and gain confidence.I like more of a mix with a lead secured .Keep scoring, not too long with nothing.
