I would imagine they'll fly directly into brookings, like Arkansas did...tomorrow afternoon/evening? The weather is all supposed to be south, so I don't imagine they'll have any issues getting here.
I am south lol the who the heck knows what you are going to get I have heard anything from .5 to 8 inches or more... sigh...
I want to go, just worried what this system is going to do... Anyone know when ND were planning on flying in?

I sense a lot of excitement and interest brewing, coming into the game with the "fighting Irish" at 2-0 after beating a couple good basketball teams, and playing at Frost Arena, where good things happen.Hope the place get 3500 or more people in there, and the place gets rock'n and loud with a lot of fun being had, could be a game to remember for the ages, maybe one for prosperity.
About Mieras, the freshman done good, speaks highly of the confidence AJ has in his players.Lexi awesome move she put on the opposing point guard.Fun team to watch when everyone makes each other better.
Mieras had a nice little turnaround layup and the guarding Razorback could not stop her. It was much like the room created with the old yote Harrington with her move to the basket. It was not flashy. It was effective as she protected the ball.
I liked ,amongst a lot of plays in this game, the move to the hoop by Macy Miller, classic Waytashek move, really reminded me of her, ball fake, change direction keeping the pivot foot planted, step through move to the hoop.Nice to see Macy emulate Megans moves some, just glad our players learn so much from each other and the basketball program really becomes better from it. Not that Macy isn't great in her own right, and when her career is done, players will be imitating some of her best moves also. Good programs seem to progressively get better,it seems.

I thought Mieras contributed a lot in the 8 minutes she played, especially since they were her first college minutes. She seems to have quick hands and good court awareness. And she isn't going to be easily moved off the block. Hopefully Guebert's shots start to fall as she gets used to the college game. She apparently has the green light to put up 3's. She gets it off quickly - she maybe needs to take a bit more time and get squared up. That one 25 footer she put up with about 5 minutes to go and considerable time on the shot clock might have given AJ an extra gray hair or two.
We used to get the opposing coaches comments, our coaches comments, and our players comments.....guess i got spoiled.....Jackrabbit Extra too, no more full game replays, lastest offered for viewing (WBB) 2-7-13,this FEB 7th ,it will be two full years without offering any full game replays.I know it's no fun recording video, maybe they can't find anyone willing to do it anymore,is my guess.I like seeing the whole game, so I can see when we aren't playing well too,so i bought a video capture recording program....keep forgetting to start it....LOL
I'm not gonna bag on Matt too much for that comment. I'm pretty sure every beat writer in America has had the exact same thoughts. BUT...you gotta know that you are 'live'. At the very least, a certain level of professionalism should be expected in all content.
Ya, it isn't the end of the world. I'm a big fan of hot mic's. Back before ESPN figured out how to do their online radio streaming right all the commercial breaks were filled with candid banter. Never unprofessional, but Dan Patrick was absolute gold during commercial breaks. I think Jackrabbit Extra still does this, and its great to hear a little back and forth between the action.
What did TV use? Was it an actual video camera? TV always posted the whole press conferences(including opposing team players/coaches) on the Argus website.
I'm just glad he is giving us coverage of the press conference no matter what the quality is or his comments are during the video. He was also joking around a little bit with some of the people that were watching it live. People were giving him grief about no having a steady hand so he starting shaking his camera/phone even more. He has his own personality and I'm fine with that. Let him do his thing. He doesn't have to tape the conference's, this is just a bonus.
Macy Miller is the type of player we haven't had since Jenn Wark. A player that can put the team on her back and carry them. Pretty excited about the next 3 years with her at the helm.
IMO, that's a piece that we've been missing. We've had great teams and some very very good players but haven't had that elite player.
Is Flaata injured ? She was dressed in a sweat suit and it appeared she was not available last night. She looked like she was not 100% leaving the court after the game.
AJ mentioned in his weekly report that she had been dinged and that has some effect on the rotation. Annabel also had an injury which factored into her redshirt.

Ultimately, news conferences are for the benefit of fans - readers, viewers and listeners. They're not just about reporters and coaches having a chat. Matt does a good job, though.
