Offense looking sharp to start the second half.players moving better w/o the ball ,passing sharper and finding the open player, lot less reliance on three point shooting....looks like different team.
Pulling away now. Up 14 in the fourth. Looking good. This is what the first half would have been if a reasonable amount of those open shots were falling.

At the start of the game, I thought they were saying "Hennings daughter" instead of Henningdottir (?) I was thinking , who yhe heck is "Henning" anyway.....LOL

I kept getting a "log in failed" too so I made another account with an alternate email. My subscriptions was expired at the time so I didn't have to worry about overlap.

From what I saw, the player that made the biggest jump from last year to now is Lexi Alexander. She looked more comfortable in her sophomore campaign and really exhibited her athleticism while staying in control on both the offensive and defensive ends. Her shot looked better too.

Offensive rebounding (26!) is what ultimately got it done. Everyone was getting in on the boards, including the diminutive Alexander.
Boever looked like she was full speed. What a luxury to have someone like that on the bench.
No minutes for the backup centers. I was hoping to see them get some time before we run into the really challenging part of the schedule.

That's the downside to playing such a challenging schedule. We didn't have a point where a team like Marist couldn't get hot and make the game tense again. The back ups will get their chances I'm sure.
That's some zone, very effective early. It seemed we had two defenders on the perimeter player every pass. We start lagging behind the pass after awhile though, because it takes a lot out of the defender to move that much and they start getting tired and start lagging behind the pass.Maybe jump the passing lane a little more when it starts to break down?
