Waytashek named to Capital One Academic All American 2nd team. Congrats to Megan.

When you look at the players honored you see a slew of GPAs>3.8. Then there is Brianna Stewart with a whooping 3.33 in "individualized major (sports in society)" So....a made up major for her? Can someone explain this?

Part of a whole new genre of higher education, apparently. Had it been around in Ancient Times I'd have graduated in two years with a Beer in Society major. LOTS of independenet study and the homework was great.

Looks like it's similar to an independent study (http://iisp.uconn.edu/about-the-individualized-major/).

NoVa, if the final was comprehensive, that Beer in Society curriculum could've been brutal

A crumb to throw to Geno, so he can show the world it's not all about basketball at UConn ( even though everyone knows it's all about basketball at UConn)
