  • WIU Leathernecks

Big game tonight in Frost as the Jacks try to stay pace with the Yotes. SDSU has pretty much been un-beatable at home in league play. Shut down the Necks' shooters and let Luke get her points. The Jacks should win the game.

The cold weather may influence the attendance. We should hope to see 2000 in stands. If the Jackrabbits can play the same intense defense from Saturday, the Leatherneck shooters will have troubles. The Jackrabbits speed of game has picked up steam. The WBB team has a great chance to be undefeated in Summit play at Frost. Go jacks!!

I think it's safe to say the attendance will be over 1,256!

Chynna isn't wearing a boot on the sideline. That's encouraging.

23-13 with 9:00 to go. Not looking terribly sharp, but getting it done.

AJ said during pregame that she might be back at the end of the week. I'll take that as probable for the Summit tourney.

He also said something about a player getting hurt at practice and he wasnt sure she was gonna play tonight. Didnt say who ir was just that it was season ending but needed monitoring.

Ober maybe? She's wear a brace, but is playing.

Defense is smothering WIU. Luke only has 4 points. 30-16 with 4:24 to go. Jacks only have 4 turnovers.

Could be. I think everyone has appeared....or am I missing something?

He didnt say the player was out.

Jacks' offensive flow has disappeared. WIU within 9 again, 51-42, 8:23 to go.

                      Final: SDSU 69, WIU 49.

Jacks have clinched a top 2 seed at the SL tournament as IUPUI is about to lose at USD.

                      Ashley Luke had 18 points.

Young, Miller, and Clarin all in double figures for SDSU.

Another 20 point win at Frost. Lots of teams have been bloodied here this year. Not a close conference game yet. Momentum continues to build. Bring on IUPUI.

To bad the summit league can't be played in frost for both the mens and womens team. Best home court advantage by far in the league.

It was Ober. She had an MRI yesterday. It must have turned out alright having seen her in the game tonight. That is the extent of my knowledge though.

                              yep. can't argue with that!

not that i have seen every game of Waytashek, but, of the games i have been able to watch on the internet, i don't believe i have ever seen MW's shot that off. hopefully she had her "off night" and ready to go for the tourney. will need her to pick up the scoring for the tourney.
